Tara Pickens is a proud Wife, Mother of three children, and Grandmother of three grandchildren. She is a retired US Army Veteran who served as a Human Resources Specialist and processed military personnel actions.  During her 20 years of Service and 13 years working for federal government, she processed a host of eligible Servicemembers' voluntary retirement requests and assisted with the planning and execution of their Military Retirement Ceremony.  During her tenure, she was assigned to a Joint Agency and became a Subject Matter Expert in processing Servicemembers' voluntary retirement requests for all Branch of Services to include General Officers.  After conducting out-processing retirement briefs and final out-processing appointments with Servicemembers, she saw a need for them to have one place to keep track of all of their retirement-related documents, annotate important upcoming appointments and leave, to have checklists, create plans for their future, and to remind them of the need to take care of themselves in the midst of continuing with their daily duties and responsibilities. This need led to her becoming the visionary for TP Visions’ Retirement Transition Planner. She believes that effective planning could alleviate some of the fears, worries, and anxieties about life beyond military service.  She is a member of the John Maxwell Team and certified to speak, train, and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development, professional skills, and personal growth. 

 After 33 years of Federal Service, she is now pursuing her business dreams.   She assists all women in fulfilling their dreams and goals by gaining clarity in all areas of their life and developing a strategic plan to achieve it.
